Clark's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

32-year old American forward Cameron Clark (201-F-1991, agency: Slash Sports) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's best team Al-Manama and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
He had a double-double of 33 points and 13 rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Al Shamal (#4, 0-5) with 47-point margin 130-83. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Al-Manama to consolidate first place in the West Asia Super League. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Al-Manama already had a very good start winning all 5 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Clark had a remarkable 78.9% from 2-point range. He turned to be Al-Manama's top player in his first season with the team. Cameron Clark averages just after two games 23.0ppg and 9.5rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Uchenna Iroegbu (183-PG-1996) of Al Shamal Doha. He is Nigerian guard in his first season at Al Shamal. In the last game Iroegbu recorded an impressive double-double of 37 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Al Shamal lost that game 83-130 to league's leader Al-Manama (#1, 5-0). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Al Shamal still maintains its place in the top 4 of the standings, even despite this loss. 5 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Iroegbu is a newcomer at Al Shamal and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.8ppg (#6). His other stats are also decent: 6.0rpg and 3.2apg. Former Stony Brook University star Iroegbu is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Clinton Chapman (208-F/C-1989, agency: Diamond Sports) of Kazma (#3). Chapman scored 21 points and grabbed 21 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Kazma, leading his team to a 91-83 win against #2 ranked Shabab Al Ahli. The chances of Kazma ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 3 games, recording just two victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Chapman could help Kazma to bring them higher in the standings. Chapman has a great season in West Asia Super League. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 10.2rpg (6th best).
